The website

This site uses Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages are read. Google sets its own cookies and processes the data under Google’s privacy policy. The site shows no ads and sells no data. Fonts are self-hosted, and Google Analytics is the only third-party script the site loads.

The hosting service receives the requests needed to serve a web page. The final hosting retention settings and processing details are still to be reviewed.

Your files

Branchway works with files on your Mac. Browsing your files is not reported to Evenpine as telemetry.

Crash reports and diagnostics

Automatic crash reports are off by default and opt-in. You can review a report and choose whether to send or save it. Saved diagnostics stay on your Mac until you share them. The current diagnostics upload service is not configured.

Reports can include app and macOS versions, recent app logs, and crash or hang reports. The diagnostic scrubber removes user paths, email addresses and machine or incident identifiers from collected reports. A feedback message is included as you typed it.

Purchases and licenses

Our payment provider handles checkout, tax and receipts as merchant of record. Evenpine does not receive your card details. License activation uses your checkout email, key, app version and a hashed machine identifier. The original hardware UUID stays on your Mac.

To find a key again, you sign in to the payment provider’s customer portal with your checkout email. That sign-in is handled by the provider, not by Evenpine.
